Camp Facility Guidelines

ESS Support Services has established certain standards for the camp in an effort to ensure comfort, safety, and compatible living arrangements for all persons residing at this facility. This handbook is provided for your information, safety, and convenience while staying with us. For answers to any questions you may have, or for additional information, please contact the Camp Manager.

 

General Information

 

Acts or conduct including, but not limited to, the following are prohibited:

  • No visitors allowed in camp.

  • All camp residents must present their badges when entering the camp.

  • All persons entering the camp are subject to search.

  • Person residing in camp are expected to control their alcohol consumption.

  • Security will not allow entry to the camp any person who is unable to walk unassisted due to intoxication, persons displaying belligerent or aggressive behavior or persons in possession of alcoholic beverages.

  • Sale, possession or use of controlled substances or illegal drugs is not permitted.

  • Smoking is allowed only in designated areas.

  • Possession or use of firearms and other lethal weapons is prohibited.

  • Fighting or violence of any sort will not be tolerated.

  • Gambling is prohibited.

  • Please dispose of trash and cigarette butts in approved receptacles located around the camp.

  • Making structural alterations to the accommodations is not allowed.

  • Use or storage of flammable solutions within living quarters is not allowed.

  • Tampering with smoke detectors or fire extinguishers is not allowed.

  • Placing personal locks on room doors is not allowed.

 

ESS Support Services assumes no liability for loss of, or damage to, personal property.  There is a lost key fee of $25.00 that will be charged back to your company.

 

Check-in/Check-out Procedures

You will need to check in with the camp office if this is your first stay with us.  You will be provided with a physical and verbal orientation of the facility.  You will be required to provide emergency contact information at this time.

 

Each time you arrive at this facility you must check-in with camp office for a room assignment. Each time you leave for R&R, temporary leave, or permanent departure you must remove the pillow-case from your pillow as an indicator to the housekeeper that you are checking-out.

 

Moving

Changing or moving from your assigned room to another is not permitted without the approval of the Camp Manager and BP.

 

Housekeeping

Housekeepers are instructed not to move any items lying on floors, beds, desks, etc. while cleaning. Living quarters should be kept orderly with floors clear at all times to permit cleaning staff to perform their work.

 

Personal Effects 

All personal effects that you wish to secure should be removed from the room each time you leave the facility for R&R.  Personal effects left in rooms may be removed and placed into storage, if your room is needed, until you return. We will not be held responsible for missing or damaged items left behind, nor are we responsible for arranging the transport of personal effects to you should you not return.

 

Medical Conditions

Notify the camp office if you will be taking prescription medicines while working at this facility. If you have a medical condition that requires the use of a hypodermic needle to inject prescription drugs (i.e. insulin for a diabetic condition), please take precautions to dispose of the needle properly to prevent injury to others.

 

Pets

No pets of any kind are allowed in the facilities.

 

Telephones

Specific phones are available for residents to use with a credit card or for calling collect. Please limit your calls to fifteen minutes to insure equal access to phones. Instruct persons who may call for you that a message may be left by calling the main camp number. A note will be posted on the bulletin board. It will be your responsibility to check the board for messages.

 

Safety

  • Smoking is prohibited in housing units and in the kitchen/dining area.  Chewing tobacco is allowed; however spitting or disposing of chewed material must only be in trash containers or disposable cups.  Do not dispose of chewed material in urinals, showers, sinks, drinking fountains, etc.

  • Upon checking into your room, consult the emergency information diagram in the room and locate the nearest fire exit and the nearest fire extinguisher. If a smoke detector sounds, respond promptly by feeling your room door for heat before opening the door and then checking the hallway for fire.  Report to the primary muster area for a head count. 

  • Open flames and other careless use of fire is prohibited in resident quarters. Do not burn candles or incense in your room. Wyoming state regulations, local laws, and OSHA regulations apply and must be strictly adhered to.

  • Please request a copy of the Emergency Response Plan.

 

Posters and Graffiti

  • Nails and tacks in walls and doors of facility are not permitted.

  • Defacing or damaging any portion of the facilities is prohibited. Do not attach decals to the walls, doors, or lockers in your room. Offenders’ company will be held responsible for the repairs of such acts.

  • Sexually explicit materials are not allowed in plain view in the rooms.

  • Remove boots and dirty or greasy shoes and clothes before entering the facility dormitories.

 

Bath Facilities

  • Removal of bath towels and wash cloths from living quarters, or using camp linen for wiping rags, is prohibited. 

  • Items (including toiletries and clothing) left in bath rooms are left there at the owner’s risk.

 

Laundry

Each resident is issued mesh laundry bags. Please place you laundry in the bag and turn it in at the laundry. Neither Hovensa nor ESS is liable for lost or damaged items, including the bleeding of colors or damage to delicate items.

 

Quiet!

Our residents work both day and night shifts. Excessive noise will not be tolerated. Be considerate of others when listening to music and television.

 

Mail

Outgoing mail should be placed in the Mail Pouch located in the Camp Office. Incoming mail should be addressed as follows:

Maintenance

Promptly report any maintenance problems to the Security desk. Do not attempt to repair them yourself. Security will then contact the Maintenance Department.

 

General Information Regarding the Dining Facility

 

Meal Hours

Meal hours are posted in the dining room. If you will be late for the meal period please let the kitchen know before the end of the meal and a plate will be dished and reserved for you.

Dishes

Do not take china, glasses, or metal silverware from the dining facility.

 

Bag Lunch Program

The bag lunches are for you to take meals off site and you will have a great selection to choose from.  Please take what you need but eat what you take to reduce waste.  Please understand that when preparing your bag lunch nothing can be taken from the hot food line or dessert area in the dining area.  Dishes, metal silverware, cups or glasses can’t be removed or used off site either - please use the disposable items.
